WELCOME TO THE FIRST YEAR OF THE CHANDLER CANNONS!

 

 

The Cannons are located in South East Chandler, Arizona.  We are at the Junior High Club Level.  We are also the parent organization for the Cannons U-6 team for grades 3-6.  We operate under the Arizona Youth Lacrosse League. www.azlax.org

 

                                              

 

Practices have been going great so far I can't wait for the next one.  Keep up the good work.  If you missed any practices, the meeting or are brand new and need registration papers visit the "forms" section of the website and our registration papers have been uploaded, If you have any questions please email me and I will be happy to help.   

 

PRACTICE HAS STARTED!!!!!! so get those registrations in asap. 

 

Don't forget a USlacrosse membership is required to practice and play!

 

A really good all inclusive informational leter was put out on the league website and outlines our upcoming season.  If you have any questions about it please let me know.  A more detailed practice schedule and game schedule will be posted to our website real soon.  Keep checking back for any updates.

PLAYERS: Don't forget to bring your mouthpiece and cup to every practice.  Also remember that all practices are full practices unless notified.

 

 

Required equipment for guys lacrosse:

  • Helmet

  • Shoulder Pads

  • Arm Protection

  • Gloves

  • Lacrosse Stick

  • Mouthguard

  • Cup/Athletic Supporter

Recommended but not required:

  • Cleats

  • Rib Pads

 

As we get more into practice don't forget to work on your fundamentals.  We will win and lose games based only on how well you can execute basic skills.  Spend more time developing your "un-natural" hand.  if you are a righty pass lefty...if you are a lefty work on skills with your right.
